Since 2005, CAT Telecom established new team for doing and developing new business line to serve the changing of CAT Telecom structure. At the moment, CAT Telecom recognized that the risk in information technology was increasing significantly in all organization. Therefore, CAT Telecom set up IT security team for serving the customer’s need in this area. CAT Telecom provides an expert manpower by training especially in IT security area to make customer trust and confidence to use our service. Since then, IT security team served many organizations both government and company in variety business lines.
CAT Telecom announced the official grand opening of IT Security service, “Cyfence by CAT Telecom”, on October 24, 2006 at Bangkok Convention Center, Central Sofitel Hotel.
Name & Logo
Cyfence, dominated from the simple words “Cyber “ and “Defence”, represents the new era in security management. It boasts simplicity as depicted in its clear typography, with ease on the eyes, adding comfort to quite-technical oriented nature of the IT Security Industry.
The Orange color, a subset of the mainstream yellow exemplifies confidence, approachability and brightness (an interest building mechanism).
The Blue Color signifies friendliness and people-orientation, serving as a connection mechanism with its audience.
The Symbolic Representation, including an outer ring (based on the shape of the alphabet “C”) highlights the subtle connection with its parent company “CAT Telecom”. The outer ring with a small opening symbolizes a fence (or a barrier) that protects and/or monitors any communication, internal and/or external (to the organization). The modern touch displays the attitude of the industry, as Cyfence evolves with the demands of the security industry.
